The first of these is a methodology article which outlines how our methods for <em>Twitter<\/em> research may be used by journalists and journalism researchers; it\u2019s based on <a href=\"http:\/\/mappingonlinepublics.net\/2011\/09\/09\/quick-update-from-the-road-twitter-research-methods\/\">the paper we presented at the Future of Journalism conference in Cardiff in September 2011<\/a>. It appears in a special issue of <em>Journalism Practice<\/em>, guest-edited by Einar Thorsen, on the online reporting of elections \u2013 many thanks to Einar for the invitation to submit a paper.
