The centrepiece of the story is this graph of @mentions of the two leaders\u2019 accounts throughout the election campaign, though \u2013 it striking that opposition leader @Campbell_Newman has now pulled well clear of @TheQldPremier Anna Bligh.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mappingonlinepublics.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/to.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"to\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mappingonlinepublics.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/to_thumb.png\" alt=\"to\" width=\"1028\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>And that\u2019s in spite of Bligh\u2019s (and Labor\u2019s) very active engagement on <em>Twitter<\/em> throughout the campaign, of course, which I\u2019ve documented <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mappingonlinepublics.net\/2012\/02\/18\/queensland-politicians-on-twitter-some-initial-observations\/\">over<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mappingonlinepublics.net\/2012\/02\/26\/queensland-election-week-1-some-twitter-patterns\/\">the<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mappingonlinepublics.net\/2012\/03\/11\/queensland-election-week-2-some-more-twitter-patterns\/\">past<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mappingonlinepublics.net\/2012\/03\/11\/queensland-election-week-3-the-twitter-story-to-date\/\">four<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mappingonlinepublics.net\/2012\/03\/18\/queensland-election-week-4-all-over-but-the-shouting\/\">weeks<\/a>. I can\u2019t help but see this as a sign that the Twitterati are already talking about Premier Newman.
